We had such a wonderful time at this cozy place! The warm welcome from the host family made us feel right at home. My granddaughter loved riding the bicycles provided and exploring the nearby lighthouse. The kitchen had everything, making meal prep easy for us.

My wife says that it would be great to have more play areas for kids.

It was just a prime choice for a quick trip in Akranes with outstanding value. The owner was super friendly and even called us when the Northern lights were visible, which was a fantastic surprise. Make sure to enjoy the cozy living room space if you have the chance.

Our stay was wonderful! The guesthouse was very clean and had everything we needed for our first night in Iceland. We enjoyed the spacious common areas and found the hosts to be incredibly helpful, providing valuable local recommendations. The location was perfect for a stroll in the little town and a visit to the nearby lighthouse.

Although the shared bathroom was clean, it might not suit everyone for privacy.
