    Nothing too much trouble, I strongly recommend this hotel to others. Venue is quiet and nice and everything was fine. The rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and smoke detectors. It has quiet location really close to a great restaurant, Teigur and cute shops.

    The hosts were really good with their warmth, providing excellent local advice and even stocking the kitchen with breakfast items. The shared living space was cozy and felt homely. While the shared bathroom was well-maintained, some might prefer more privacy. A minor drawback was that the décor could use a refresh, as it felt a bit dated. The limited play area for kids might not cater to families with younger children.

    We had such a wonderful time at this cozy place! The warm welcome from the host family. My granddaughter loved riding the bicycles provided and exploring the nearby lighthouse. The kitchen had everything.

    My wife says that it would be great to have more play areas for kids.

    It was just a prime choice for a quick trip in Akranes with excellent value. The owner was super friendly and even called us when the Northern lights were visible, a fantastic surprise. Make sure to enjoy the cozy living room space if you have the chance.
